We were delighted to host the 44th session of the NASSCOM EMERGE Forum Fridays’ 2.0 in Madurai. The session, themed “Tapping Global Opportunities from Anywhere,” was a deep dive into how emerging technologies such as cloud computing, mobility, and accelerated development tools are democratizing access to global opportunities.
Program Highlights:
Attendees: The session was aimed at CEOs, senior management, entrepreneurs, technology professionals, business leaders, and heads of marketing, business development, and HR.

முதலில் ஒட்டு மொத்த இந்தியாவின் ஐ.டி துறை வளர்ச்சிப் பாதை பற்றி ஒரு சுருக்கமான விளக்கம். இந்தியாவில் எண்பதுகளில் துளிர் விடத் தொடங்கிய தகவல் தொழில் நுட்பத் துறை வளர்ச்சியானது தொன்னூறுகளில் வேர் விட்டு கிளை பரப்பி ஆழ விருட்சமாய் வளந்தது. முக்கியமாக தென்னிந்தியாவில் பெங்களூரு, சென்னை மற்றும் ஐதராபாத் போன்ற பெரு நகரங்கள் இத் துறையின் பெறும் பயன்களைப் பெற்றன. இந்திய ஐ.டி தொழில் துறை இரண்டாயிரமாவது வருடத்தில் \’டாட் காம் பஸ்ட்\’ (dot com bust) என்று சொல்லப்படும் பிரச்சினையால் பெறும் பின்னடைவை சந்தித்தது. அதாவது இணைய சேவைகளுக்கான அடிப்படை கட்டமைப்புகளும், தொழில் நுட்பங்களும் மற்றும் பயனீட்டாளர்களின் எண்ணிக்கையும் அனுகூலமற்ற ஒரு கால கட்டத்தில் பல்வேறு இணையம் சார்ந்த சேவைகள் சந்தைக்கு அறிமுகம் செய்யப்பட்டன. ஏராளமான பணம் முதலீடு செய்யப்பட்டது. ஆனால் குறுகிய காலத்திலேய இந்த முயற்சிகள் பெறும் தோல்வியை சந்தித்தன. அதன் பின்பு ஓரிரு வருடங்களில் பல்வேறு சேவைத்துறை சார்ந்த வெளிநாட்டு வியாபார வாய்ப்புகள் குவியத் தொடங்கி விட்டன. 2008 ஆம் ஆண்டு வரை சீரான வளர்ச்சிப் பாதையில் சென்று கொண்டிருந்த இந்திய ஐ.டி துறையின் வளர்ச்சி அதன் பின்பு ஏற்பட்ட சர்வதேச பொருளாதார தேக்க நிலையின் காரணமாக மீண்டும் பெறும் பின்னடைவை சந்திக்க நேரிட்டது. கடந்த சில மாதங்களாக இந்த நிலைமை ஓரளவு சீரடைந்து வருவதாக புள்ளி விபரங்களும் வல்லுநர் கூற்றுக்களும் தெரிவிக்கின்றன.
