On the pre-noon of October 20th, 2024, the SIDA Leadership Team had the distinct privilege of meeting with the Honourable Dr. Palanivel Thiagarajan, Minister of Information Technology and Digital Services, Government of Tamil Nadu, at his Madurai office. The team President Mr. Prabhuram Ramamurthy, Treasurer Mr. N. Suresh, Secretary Mr. Saravana Pandian S.A., and Vice President Mr. M. Kutti Sankar presented the vision and work of SIDA and engaged in a productive dialogue with the Honourable Minister. The discussion focused on shared goals of strengthening the IT ecosystem in Tamil Nadu, with a particular emphasis on IT SMEs.

Mr. Ashok Kumar presented “Data Breaches in Small Businesses: How to Prevent Losses and Protect Your Business,” supported by real-life examples and practical solutions.
The Kriyavan Cyber Forensic Services team demonstrated common cybercriminal tactics and ways to counteract them effectively.
Treasurer Mr. Suresh concluded the evening with a vote of thanks, highlighting the memorable discussions and teasing exciting upcoming events.

The November edition of SIDA SPEAKS brought members together for an enriching session on Cybersecurity and its Importance for Businesses, coupled with meaningful networking opportunities. The evening was filled with impactful discussions, actionable insights and collaborative energy.
Mr. Sugu Maran delivered a powerful presentation on the impact of a positive belief system in driving personal and professional success. He introduced the concepts of Kensho and Satori, which emphasise growth through challenges and moments of insight. Using the MIQ framework, he shared goal-setting techniques complemented by real-world examples, inspiring attendees to take actionable steps toward their vision.
